Animals Helped With Your Help In 2019
Lilies can be fatal to your pet if ingested, and chocolate is toxic to cats, canine and ferrets. Juneau Animal Rescue partners with Southeast Alaska Animal Medical Center to handle our animal care and help forestall pet overpopulation in our group. Our animal shelter began as a small shed underneath the bridge over Gastineau Channel. While we will all the time be proud of these humble beginnings, our new name and brand more precisely convey the community spirit of the organization that has served Juneau’s animal inhabitants since 1963. In January 2019 we modified our name to Juneau Animal Rescue, hoping to strengthen consciousness of our group and broaden our public outreach. We are frequently grateful for the generous help of the group and look ahead to the subsequent 50 plus years of service asJuneau Animal Rescue.
